Julian Day App Reviews

Im a general contractor and my quotes and invoice numbers are Julian date based so this app comes in very handy when Im searching for calendar dates in conjunction with them. Id like to see a feature added that gives you the option to have the Julian day badge display update automatically with the calendar rather than having to open the app and do it manually every day. I did contact the program vendor quite some time ago with this request and he said it was on his list of things to do but he didnt know when hed get around to it. Not the answer I was looking for. Add this feature and Id rate this app 5 stars!

Nice app in all ways, easy to use, two views, no issues, even after OS update. But why cant it update itself daily, like other calendars? It must be a challenge, since the rest dont seem to have it either. Keep on trying!!

This is a simple, clean app that does just what it says. Ive searched and I dont think there are any other apps that allow conversion of both Julian and Gregorian dates from one to the other. I work in manufacturing, and product is serialized in part by the Julian date of its production. Being able to covert on the fly is well worth the app price for me, and the developer seems responsive to suggestions. Looking forward to future updates.

As a military mobility pilot we do everything using Julian date... this App has been fantastic! Love the monthly calendar view. It would be nice if the icon date would update itself, but that is minor. Id definitely recommend this App!

If you use Julian dates, as I do in a payroll office, this is a must. My coworkers now all come to me.

Working supply in the US Army this app comes in handy everytime. A lot of forms I use require Julian Date and I can always count on this app to save the day especially when Im not at the office to look at a calendar. Wish it could update itself tho!

While this is not the most useful app that I have, it IS used every day and is an app I find indispensable!

This is an excellent app for determining a Julian date without having to call him. Look up past dates as well, eg. Birthdays, anniversaries, great for a personal touch on greeting cards. Yes, one can memorize all dates in a calendar year and their Julian equivalent, but who wants to waste brain cell space when you have this app. Hopefully it will automatically update icon badge in a future update.

This app is great for adding number of days across months. No performance issues either!

It does exactly what it should. I do wish it updated the Julian date automatically but, thats a minor thing.

Does the job without distractions. Would give 5 stars if it could integrate with the other commonplace calendar functions; e.g., appointments, events, etc.

The app works as advertised. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is the fact that it doesnt automatically update. Other than that, Im happy with this app.
