This application converts between Julian/Gregorian and Gregorian/Julian. It converts dates both ways.

This application lets the user enter any date via the date picker and the software returns the Julian day for that date in its year. Works with Leap years (2012, 2016, etc).

For example: August 16th will always be Julian day number 228 for any year, except a leap year. In leap years it will be day 229.

It also allows the user to enter just a Julian day number (1-366) and it returns the correct calendar date.

For example, if you enter 90 it will convert that to March 31th for you. This also work with leap years. Any Number entered between 1-366 will return the correct Gregorian Date.

This application is used in the Manufacturing, Military, Food Service, Beverage and Agricultural industries to keep track of manufacturing and production dates, expiration dates or as just a simple way to track days.

Julian Day app good for

This is a simple, clean app that does just what it says. Ive searched and I dont think there are any other apps that allow conversion of both Julian and Gregorian dates from one to the other. I work in manufacturing, and product is serialized in part by the Julian date of its production. Being able to covert on the fly is well worth the app price for me, and the developer seems responsive to suggestions. Looking forward to future updates.

As a military mobility pilot we do everything using Julian date... this App has been fantastic! Love the monthly calendar view. It would be nice if the icon date would update itself, but that is minor. Id definitely recommend this App!

If you use Julian dates, as I do in a payroll office, this is a must. My coworkers now all come to me.

I absolutely love this app, im a crew chief and it helps me with forms in my shop

Working supply in the US Army this app comes in handy everytime. A lot of forms I use require Julian Date and I can always count on this app to save the day especially when Im not at the office to look at a calendar. Wish it could update itself tho!

While this is not the most useful app that I have, it IS used every day and is an app I find indispensable!

Some bad moments

Now calculator! Utter complete garbage. What use is it if you cannot add day to see what the date would be. Garbage for military.

I have used this app for years without a hitch but now it wont display icon badges anymore.

I got this app because I was looking for something that would display the current Julian date on the face of the app icon, like the apple calendar app does. I am disappointed because it will display the date you choose on the icon badge, but it wont automatically change each day to reflect the current Julian date. I have to go into the app each day and change the date if I want to change the date shown. For a paid app I expected more. I will be looking for a different app.
